summary

The hotel concept draws inspiration from the Victorian heritage of the Lower Highlands neighborhood, a district where industrialists of the late 1800s built grand homes during the Westward expansion. This design juxtaposes the opulence of Victorian style with the grit of raw industrialism, honoring the area’s historic roots while embracing modern architectural sensibilities and frontier-inspired details.

Throughout the guestrooms and public spaces, rich materials are layered with dusty floral patterns, creating a warm and textured aesthetic. The heart of the hotel, Wildflower—a bar, restaurant, and café—embodies this thoughtfully curated balance. In the Living Room, low-slung leather seating and Victorian floral upholstery rest atop cowhide rugs and warm timber floors. A statement fringed lampshade hangs above, contrasting with the raw concrete check-in desk. Along a windowed wall, sunlit cacti bring a touch of desert greenery, blending natural elements with the room's carefully orchestrated design.
