The 62-room property is set in downtown Nantucket, with the town's historic 17th-century Quaker Meeting House at it's core. The hotel is comprised of four cedar-shingled structures and a signature 140-seat restaurant called Sister Ship, which is anchored by a lush central patio. The muse of the property is a fictional female captain who sets sail with her all-women crew and returns home (to Faraway) with an assemblage of exotic treasures and quirky weathered objects. Each corner of Faraway comes to life as a page in this seafaring heroine's diary.
